| 内容記述 | 要旨 心理学が明治時代に日本でも大学で学ばれるようになってから，時代の変化に応じてどのように教え方が変化してきているのかについて検討を行った。その中で，本稿では心理学を初学者に教えるためのテキストである「心理学概論」のテキストの中でいかに心理学が扱われてきたのかについて時代を追ってその変化を明らかにした。 哲学から分離，独立して一つの独立した学問分野として成立した心理学は，当初実証科学的な側面の重要性が強調されながらも，カント哲学の影響を明らかにするなど，思弁的，哲学的な内容に関する関心を完全には否定するわけではなかった。しかし，時代を経る中で，構成主義だけではない，行動主義，ゲシュタルト心理学，認知心理学などの様々な立場が心理学の分野の中に成立してゆき，その人間観などではなく，「行動からの心理学」という言葉で表現されるように，思考などを含んだ広義の「行動」を対象とした実証的な研究を行う学問という観点で捉えられることが多くなっていったことが検討された。その中では，それぞれの立場が背景としている人間観などに違いがあるものの，心理学概論を教える際にはそうした差異については言及されるのではなく，実証的な方法論などの共通点を持って説明されることが多くなっていると考えられた。その中で，多様な領域を含む心理学を一つの学問分野として捉えることを可能にする半面，その背景としてどのような人間の捉え方があるのかという視点が弱くなってきていると考えられた。 心理学が多様な領域を含み，同じ「心」という対象を扱いながらも，それをいかに扱うのか，捉えるのかについては差異があると考えられ，そうした差異についても意識的に扱うために，心理学の背景にある人間観や哲学について意識的であることが有用なのではないかと考えられた。 |

| 内容記述 | Abstract This paper examines how the teaching of psychology has changed with the changing times, especially after it came to be studied in universities in Japan during the Meiji period. Within this examination, this paper reveals changes over time in the way psychology has been handled in Shinrigaku Gairon (Outline of Psychology), a textbook for teaching psychology to beginners. Psychology, which was established as an independent discipline separate from and independent of philosophy, initially emphasized the importance of positive science aspects but did not entirely dismiss interest in speculative and philosophical content, such as the influence of Kantian philosophy. However, this paper examines the fact that a range of positions other than constructivism, such as behaviorism, gestalt psychology, and cognitive psychology, began to form within the field of psychology with the passage of time. It came to be regarded not for its view of humanity or the like, but as a scholarship that conducts demonstrative research on behavior in the broad sense, including thought, as expressed by the term “psychology from behavior.” While each of these positions may have different views of humanity behind them, it was thought that teaching an outline of psychology more commonly explains these through their common points, such as demonstrative methodologies, rather than mentioning their differences. This is considered to be because it enables psychology to be regarded as a single discipline that includes diverse areas, but conversely weakens the perspective that questions the view of humanity that lies behind it. Psychology includes diverse areas, and although they all take the mind as their subject, they appear to treat and regard it in different ways. It is thought that being conscious of the view of humanity and the philosophy behind psychology may be useful in handling these differences more consciously. |
