| 内容記述 | 近世の中国社会では集権化・国家化が進み，父権的な法と道徳によってすべての人がその属性によってそれぞれの共同体のなかで位置づけ価値づけられる，強固で抑圧的な社会が形成されていった。しかしながら，この長い近世の時代に広く伝承され愛好された，四大民間説話をはじめとする数多くの民衆的な物語の分析を重ね合わせると，そこには，こうした社会の集権化・秩序化に抵抗し反発しながらもそれにうながされて，新たな共同性が様々に表現されていることがわかる。その共同性とは，主に，兄弟幻想，異性幻想，女神幻想，母息子幻想に基づくものである。こうして想像された共同性は，現実の国家的秩序はもちろん，それと結びついた家族的な共同体秩序とも大きく異なるものであって，そこに長い歴史のダイナミクスのなかでの人々の想像力と感情における近代的なものの胎動をみることができる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Early modern China evolved into a rigid and repressive society with the centralization of social powers, in which all people were positioned in and evaluated by society, and within each family, based on paternalistic laws and morals. However, an analysis of China’s four great folktales and many other popular stories that were widely disseminated and very popular during the early modern period reveals that, while resistance and opposition to a centralized society existed, the stories also express various types of new visions of communality. They are primarily based on fantasies about brotherhood, the opposite sex, goddesses, and mothers and sons. Although the imagined communities in the stories differ greatly from the actual prevailing communities of that period, the embryo of modernity can be observed in these novel imaginations. | |||||||||||
